The Breckland area has a number of animal collections. Banham Zoo is rated in the top 3 zoos by ‘Which?’. It is set in extensive grounds, with a large collection of animals from throughout the world and a breeding programme in place to help endangered species.
Smaller collections include the farm animals, some of which are rare breeds, at Melsop Farm and the Roots of Norfolk Museum.
