The Attleborough Area Partnership, now in its second operational year, can boast many projects that have touched the lives of residents and businesses in the town. Attleborough in Bloom, Trafalgar weekend, Sensory garden, Youth Fest and the weekly market regeneration are among many projects that owe their success to the partnerships between the community, local agencies and businesses who want to improve the quality and sustainability of the town and surrounding villages. Attleborough remains a traditional Norfolk Market Town and the Partnership’s main aims are to enhance its natural character and economic and social sustainability so that future generations can continue to enjoy it. Plans are in the pipeline to develop a major heritage and tourism project that will involve many local people as well as a three year youth project to help developing bands and performers to reach their potential.
The Dereham Area Partnership is a Company Limited by Guarantee set up to improve the quality of life for all residents in the Dereham area. The projects which the Partnership undertakes are all based on consultation with the local community so that they address key concerns and issues of the public in the area.

Anyone living in the area is welcome to join in and participate in our work. The Upper Yare Partnership Trust was set up by the parish councils of Yaxham, Whinburgh and Westfield, Garvestone, Thuxton and Reymerston, and Hardingham, to give these small parishes more clout at local government level and to facilitate the funding of community projects which would otherwise not get support by reason of their small size.
Its partners in projects- which can range from provision of local sports field to a new community hall, a community car service to a community newsletter- include other charities, the Church, local community organisations and, where necessary, local businesses.
The Upper Yare Partnership Trust is in for the long haul. Our area of mid-Norfolk is deprived of many communal services and facilities. There is no doctors surgeries, pharmacies, only two local shops and very little local industry.
The Wayland Area Partnership is a community led regeneration partnership focussing on the market town of Watton and the thirteen neighbouring rural parishes in the Breckland District of Norfolk which for some years have been vulnerable to poverty and deprivation through a downturn in the local economy and the loss of services. Since the partnerships was formed in 1999, the project has been a genuine and exciting grass roots development with all of its early activity achieved by volunteers working for their community. A company limited by garuntee was formed and chairitable status achieved. The Company is managed on behalf of the Partnership by six trustees. In the last two years the Partnership has grown, with the introduction of an office presence on the High Street, the employment of 4 full-time and 2 part-time members of staff, and the continuing support of a large number of volunteers. The Partnership has attracted more than £1.5m in funding to the Wayland area since 1999 and has enabled a vairety of innovitive and successful community projects.
