Pride in Breckland

' '

Breckland Council's Pride in Breckland campaign is a fantastic initiative with the community at its heart. The goals of the Pride in Breckland campaign are to:

  • Improve the quality of life for all Breckland residents and to make the district an even nicer place to visit
  • Develop the respect and sense of ownership in the local area
  • Expand relationships between different sections of the community
  • Encourage the sense of pride in the district

By achieving these aims, together we can develop a sense of respect and ownership of our environment and improve the quality of life for all in Breckland.

The campaign is the driving force behind exciting projects such as the 'Adopt a Box' scheme, community clean-ups, Pride grant scheme, Community Rangers, School Recycling and the 24-hour confidential ‘Pride Line’ which enables residents to report environmental crime and issues in their area.
