Breckland Council’s Equality Strategy and Race Equality Scheme | |||||||||||||
Breckland Council is committed to ensuring good relations amongst the community and our staff as an employer and in how we deliver services. We have outlined this commitment in our Equality Strategy 2005-2008 which incorporates our Race Equality Scheme. It is a ‘living’ document, which we will revise and update as needs and priorities arise. Outlined within the Equality Strategy, the Council has agreed to work towards 6 Equality Aims:

Our aim is to deliver good quality services in a manner that is fair to all people within the district, to ensure everyone is treated fairly, and that our workforce reflects the communities within which we work.
