Breckland Council – Draft Corporate Enforcement Policy

The Council’s enforcement policy has been reviewed and updated to take into account the legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 which places a duty on regulators to have regard to principles of good regulation.

The purpose of the Policy is to set out the guiding principles by which legislation will be enforced by the Council to protect public health, safety, amenity and the environment within Breckland.

The draft Policy is available on Breckland’s website the link to draft enforcement policy (pdf document, 381kb) and we would welcome any comments or feedback from businesses or members of the public.  Please send your feedback to consultation@breckland.gov.uk.
