How Much Does It Cost to Apply for Planning Permission |
You will have to pay a fee to apply for planning permission (unless you are entitled to a concession). The fees are payable when you submit your application to us. Your application will not be processed until we have received the correct fee.
Planning application fees are set nationally. A list of current planning application fees is available here.
Problems calculating your fee?
If you have any queries please contact our Senior Fees/Registry Officer via email by clicking here or by telephone on (01362) 656873.
The Planning Portal Fee Calculator can assist you by working out the cost of any particular application. It takes the form of a series of “yes” or “no” answers from which data is completed to establish the total cost of the application ranging from a simple householder development to large schemes such as housing schemes or industrial estates.
How to Pay
Payment preferably by Debit Card, either by postal debit card payment (using the payment form - download one here - PDF document 48.0KB), by chip and pin if hand delivered or by calling the Contact Centre on (01362) 656870. Other methods of payment are cheque (made payable to Breckland Council), or postal order. No cash will be accepted. |
