LOCAL DEVELOPMENT SCHEMEBRECKLAND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT SCHEME - SECOND REVISIONOn 11th May 2007, Breckland Council received confirmation in accordance with Regulation 11(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 that the Secretary of State does not intend to issue a direction on a second revision to the Breckland Local Development Scheme. This means that Breckland Council has an up-to-date Local Development Scheme which sets out an approved timetable for the production of its Local Development Framework. Under the new planning system we are required to review the Scheme every year and make changes where necessary. However, the Scheme is your starting point to find out more about what Planning Policy documents will be prepared in Breckland and the key milestones in their production. In accordance with the Regulations, the Breckland Local Development Scheme is available to inspect at our principal office in Dereham which is open during normal office hours (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4.30pm).
