In 2004 we held a meeting with several of the private landlords who rent out properties in the district on both a small and large scale.
During this meeting we provided all attendees with a copy of our ‘Landlord’s Handbook’, a useful handy-sized pack containing comprehensive information about letting properties.
Since this date we held another Forum in 2005, and our 2006 event attracted over 40 landlords and agents from across the district, all of whom ranked the Forum as 'good' or 'excellent'. We were very fortunate to have speakers from the National Landlords' Association, the Eastern Landlords' Association, and Business Link Norfolk - all of whom provided some great advice on making the most from your property and providing a good service to tenants.
3rd Annual Landlord’s Forum
Following the outstanding success of our last two Forums and the special interest sessions we have held, it’s time for the 3rd Annual Breckland Landlords’ Forum.
On 2nd October between 6pm and 8pm we will be hosting a range of speakers on subjects such as dealing with the new tenancy deposit rules and how to make the most of your property portfolio. We will also be launching our Tenant Pack and introducing our Landlord Accredition Scheme by finding out what benefits landlords would like to see in exchange for reaching an excellent standard of property management.
We are delighted to announce that the Eastern Landlords’ Association, The Money Centre and Inside Housing Solutions will be joining our specialist officers to ensure the Forum is of interest and advantage to all landlords and agents, big or small.

The Council has already identified many landlords interested in attending, but we always welcome more, especially smaller landlords.
