Finance

The finance service is responsible for providing financial and accounting advice to the Council, its members and its officers. It is responsible for the preparation and control of budgets; the formal setting of council tax; publishing the council's annual statement of accounts; audit; fees and charges; financial transparency; capital accounting and treasury management; and payable and receivable accounts.
