Breckland District Council believes consultation and public involvement are at the heart of good decision making. We are committed to consulting widely when making decisions and we will actively listen to the views of our residents and others with an interest in the services we provide.
What is Consulting?
Consultation is about listening to and respecting the views of other people when making decisions that affect their lives. We are committed to improving consultation with our residents and communities in Breckland and have established a set of standards to guide the various consultation activities across the council.
If you would like to know how we consult, when we are consulting, what we are consulting on, and what the results of consultation are, then please contact the team on 01362 656 161, or email Mary Palmer at mary.palmer@breckland.gov.uk.
