 Norfolk has been awarded £3.6m to form a partnership of organisations which will use new technology and develop services that will help support older people to live at home longer and to improve their quality of life. The projects will run from Spring 2006 to Summer 2008.
The partners include: Norfolk County Council, Norfolk Constabulary, East Anglian Ambulance Trust, Age Concern Norfolk, Norfolk’s Primary Care Trusts, Norfolk District Council’s, the Alzheimer’s Society.
The services include: 24-hour unplanned urgent need Night Owls and Swift services,
Home Security project,
Falls follow-up service,
Teleshopping,
Teleclub,
Improved Dementia Services
