My bin has not been emptied? Why is this and how do I report it?
Your bin must be out by 7am on the day of collection. If your bin is not out by this time, it may not be collected. Bin crews do not follow the same route every week, so even if your bin is usually picked up later in the day, it still needs to be ready for collection at 7am.
If you have received a red card in your black recycling bin, it means that you have placed incorrect items in the bin. We cannot collect the bin while non-recyclable items remain inside.
If you have received a green card, you have placed incorrect items in your green bin. We will be unable to collect while the items remain.
A yellow card indicates that incorrect items have been placed in your brown garden waste bin and we will be unable to collect.
For guidance on what can be placed in each bin, please refer to your waste and recycling guidance.
If your bin has not been collected and you did not receive a card, please call 01362 656 878
