![]() Following extensive consultation with all the residents in the district and local opinion formers, the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Breckland has produced a Community Plan for Breckland. The LSP has used feedback and ideas received to identify the most important priorities for local people, and to prioritise action plans for the first three years for improving the quality of life in the district. The Community Plan for Breckland is the starting point for joint action. New issues will be included in future updates of the Community Plan for Breckland and Action Plans as the LSP makes progress and reviews what more it and its partners can do together as the LSP. This Community Plan for Breckland is a long term plan developed by the LSP to improve the quality of life for people working in, living in and moving to the district. It aims to reflect the main priorities of Breckland residents and to develop a shared vision for public, private, voluntary and community partners. Our vision is: "to improve the quality of life for people living and working in, and visiting Breckland." Local people’s needs and aspirations, together with national and regional priorities, have been used to establish the priority areas that feature in this Plan. These in turn have been divided into eight themes to focus on the issues that matter most to the people of Breckland:
