Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) Closed (Addendum) / One Off Payment

Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) Closed (Addendum) 5 Jan to 15 Feb plus The One Off Payment

Who is currently eligible?

Grant funding is available to businesses directly impacted by the Covid-19 restrictions that are required to close by current lockdown restrictions.  There is a one-off Closed Businesses lockdown payment for businesses with a rateable value.

To be eligible an applicant must:

  • Be a Breckland-based business or charity (identified by means such as business rates number, Companies House records, or VAT number)
  • Be significantly impacted by the restrictions (i.e. legally required to close)
  • Fit the criteria set nationally for individual schemes.
  • Demonstrate they were open and trading immediately prior to the start of the current restriction.

I have already applied for a grant before - do I need to apply again?

If you received a grant under the previous scheme (called LRSG (Closed)) for the November "lockdown" restrictions, you do not need to apply again. We will use your details to process further eligible applications.

When will I get paid / how will I get paid?

We intend to make regular payments based on how long the Tier restrictions are in place.   Payments are currently being made on a 42 day cycle as per the current restriction guidelines.

Please note, as we are entirely reliant on external funding, we will only be able to keep making payments where we have the resource to fit.

What do I need to complete the form?

You will need some key information about your business, and how it is impacted by restrictions.

You will also either need to supply your business rates and property details (this information is available on your 2020-21 Breckland business rates bill or you can contact our business rates team on 01842 756568) or you will need to upload equivalent evidence for us to validate your business is a current legitimate going concern.

Your business will not qualify for support under this scheme if it was in administration, insolvent, or a striking off order was made at the time the local restrictions started.
