24/11/21: Can you help find Father Christmas' lost reindeer?

Father Christmas' reindeer are lost across Breckland and he needs everyone's help to find them by Christmas Eve! Follow the Breckland Reindeer Trail around the district's five market towns and find the reindeer hidden in local high street shops. As a thank you for helping Father Christmas get ready for the big day, shoppers could be in the running to win a big prize.

The Breckland Reindeer Trail launches on 27 November and will see Father Christmas' reindeer hiding in high street shops in Attleborough, Dereham, Swaffham, Thetford and Watton.

For a chance to win, visit businesses displaying a Breckland Reindeer Trail poster and find the name of the reindeer who's hiding there. There are plenty of reindeer hiding - you only need to find ten to be entered into the prize draw! You'll need a Reindeer Trail Card to write down the reindeer's names and the business they were hiding in. Trail cards can be downloaded here or picked up at businesses that are taking part.

To show how grateful he is for the help finding his missing reindeer, Father Christmas will be giving five lucky helpers a hamper of prizes from local shops. The winners will be chosen at random from all the completed Reindeer Trail Cards sent in before 24 December.

Completed Trail Cards can be posted to: Father Christmas, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham, NR19 1EE, or email us a photo of your completed sheet. The winners will be chosen and contacted in January 2022.

Cllr Paul Claussen, Executive Member for Economic Development and Growth at Breckland Council, said: "We're encouraging everyone to get into the Christmas spirit and find out more about what our fantastic high streets have to offer. Our Reindeer Trail is a great reason to visit lots of the independent local businesses that give our towns their unique character and pick up some Christmas gifts. Every pound you spend in a local business goes into our local economy and supports local jobs. So why not support local businesses and have some festive fun at the same time?"
