Local Development Scheme

Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is our timetable for producing the Local Plan. Our Local Development Scheme sets out a detailed timescale on how the key planning documents will be prepared. We are required to review the Scheme every year and make changes where necessary. The Scheme is your starting point to find out more about what Planning Policy documents will be prepared and the key milestones for their production.

The current Local Development Scheme is available to view on our Documents Library and Publications Page

In accordance with the Regulations, the Breckland Local Development Scheme is available to inspect at our principal office in Dereham which is open during normal office hours (Monday-Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm).

Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)

Monitoring is essential to establish what is happening now and what may happen in the future. Annual Monitoring Reports (AMRs) review progress on local development documents and monitor current policies being used. The report is produced annually. The monitoring year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

All Annual Monitoring Reports can be found on our Documents Library and Publications Page
