19 February: 'Sing Your Song' with Kate Dimbleby in Thetford

Internationally acclaimed artist Kate Dimbleby will be at Ancient House Museum, Thetford, on 19 February from 2pm to 3.30pm with her 'Sing Your Song' Workshop.

Kate Dimbleby, daughter of Britain's broadcasting family of voices, has travelled the world with her one woman show about singers such as Peggy Lee, Nina Simone and Bessie Smith. In this memorable FREE workshop, Kate invites you to explore your voice, listen and remember the songs that inspire you.

Everyone is welcome to join in, or just sit and enjoy the company. No previous experience! The event is free to attend though donations are welcome.

Anyone needing assistance with transport should contact Sophie, the project coordinator, on 01362 656852 or email community@breckland.gov.uk.

The workshops are taking place as part of The Silver Social  which launched in autumn 2017 to offer daytime activities aimed at older residents in rural communities
