21 March: 'Songbirds' performance by Kate Dimbleby in Shipdham

Enjoy 'Songbirds' - a performance by Kate Dimbleby on Wednesday 21 March, 2.30pm-4pm, at Shipdham Church.

From a great family of voices, Kate explores her legacy; weaving powerful, soulful, a capella original songs, with stories of singing with Bobby McFerrin, stepping out of Peggy Lee's shadow and learning to find the song in everyone.

'Songbirds' combines songs from Kate's critically acclaimed original album, Songbirds, with her personal story of finding her voice. Kate sings alone and uses a looper pedal to layer her voice and improvise with you, the audience.

The performance has been organised as part of Breckland Council's programme of daytime events/activities called The Silver Social.
