Your privacy is very important to Breckland District Council.

Your data may be processed by Serco Limited of Serco House, 16 Bartley Wood Business Park, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9UY and Whitespace Work Software Limited, White Lodge Farm, Goose Rye Road, Worplesdon, Surrey, GU3 3RJ.

Why we need your personal data

Your information will be used to assess eligibility for receiving the assisted refuse collection service.  The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6.1(c) of the General Data Protection Regulations - in that the Council has a legal duty to provide an assisted refuse collection.  This legal duty is set out in the Environmental Protection Act 1990. 

How your data is used

We will only use your data for the specific purpose of assessing eligibility to receive the assisted refuse collection service. 

In order to undertake this, we may share your data with our contractor, Serco Limited. 

How long the information is kept for

We will keep your information and all associated details for three years, at which point the information will be securely destroyed.
