Household Support Fund
The Government has given Norfolk £13.39 million Household Support Fund to support resident struggling to pay their utility bills. This includes single households, families with or without children, older people and disabled people. Residents do not need to be receiving benefits to request help.
This funding runs April 2023 - March 2024.
Professionals can make referrals to this fund where they have identified eligible residents. It is not possible for residents to apply directly for the fund from Breckland Council.
However, residents in financial hardship can self-refer to the Norfolk Assistance Scheme for support with food and energy vouchers, or alternative financial support. Applications should be made directly to the Norfolk Assistance Scheme (NAS).
Visit Norfolk County Council's website for details on how to apply to NAS
