Book a Site Inspection
This page explains how to request a Building Control site inspection and outlines the notice periods and requirements needed before submitting a request.
To improve our service and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Breckland Building Control operates a next-day inspection model. This means inspection requests must be submitted with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Same-day inspection requests can no longer be accepted.
All inspection requests must be submitted by 4:00pm on the previous working day to secure an inspection for the next working day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Inspections can only be booked online where a valid Building Regulations application has already been submitted and accepted by Breckland Council.
