Joining the scheme or renewing your existing service is easy:
Our annual garden waste collection service is just £44 and will see a wheelie bin delivered to your home within five working days, along with a collection calendar confirming when your bin will be emptied.
What can go in your garden waste bin?
|Yes Please||No Thanks|
|Grass Cuttings||Bagged rubbish|
|Hedge Clippings||Tree trunks and fencing|
|Twigs and small branches||Compost, soil and stones|
|Leaves and shrub pruning||Rubble and turf|
|Weeds and Plants||Kitchen waste (including fruit and veg peelings)|
|Cut flowers||Straw, sawdust or other animal bedding|
To ensure a problem free collection service please ensure your bin is presented at your property boundary by 7.00am on your collection day.
Do not overfill your bin or leave additional garden waste next to the bin as this will not be collected.
Our handy Garden Waste Calendars contains details of adjustments to collection dates over the Bank Holiday periods and advice on what to put in the bin.
Week 1 brown bin collections take place on the same week that we empty green bins.
Week 2 brown bin collections take place on the same week that we empty black bins.
