Change of Address Form for Council Tax

If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Reduction please see Benefits Change of Address

You will need to have the following information available:

• Council Tax Account number (if moving from within the Breckland area)
  • If you are visiting us for a face to face appointment and do not have a letter containing your council tax account number, please see the webpage other verification options for the other proof of identification that we will accept.
• Information regarding the property you are leaving, which includes:
  • Full address
  • The date you left or intend to leave
  • The tenancy end date or completion date
  • Name and address of the landlord or new owners
• Information regarding the new property, which includes:
  • Full address
  • Completion date or tenancy start date
  • When you moved in/intend to move in
