Poll Cards

Electors registered before 8 March 2024 will have poll cards despatched on or around 25 March 2024.

Electors registered between 8 March 2024 and last date for registration (before midnight on Tuesday 16 April 2024) will have poll cards despatched on or around 25 April 2024.

Your poll card will tell you where your polling station is. This is where you need to go on Thursday 2 May 2024 to cast your vote.

Your poll card will tell you what type ofaccepted forms of photo ID (opens new window) to bring with you to the polling station on Thursday 2 May 2024. You will not be able to vote without it.

Poll cards are sent out as second class mail.

Electors do not have to take their poll card to the polling station on the day of poll although it can help election staff find your entry on the electoral register easier if you do. 

Electors in the same household may not receive their poll cards at the same time if they are not in the same print run.
