Referendum on the Mattishall Neighbourhood Plan Review
A Referendum relating to the making (adoption) of the Mattishall Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 15 May 2025.
The question asked in the Referendum was:
"Do you want Breckland Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan Review for Mattishall to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
83.6% of those who voted supported the Plan.

Examination
The Mattishall Neighbourhood Plan Review was subject to an Independent Examination that started in October 2024. The Examiner found that, subject to all of the policies being modified, the plan met the 'basic conditions' and recommended that it proceed to a local referendum. The District Council will now consider this Report.
Submission Consultation
Mattishall Parish Council have published the Mattishall Neighbourhood Plan Review Submission Draft (Regulation 16) for consultation, which ended on 15th September 2024.
