Arrange a bulky waste collection

Local authorities responsible for managing waste upholstered domestic seating are required by law to change their processes for dealing with waste potentially containing chemicals known as Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Waste upholstered domestic seating, which includes sofas, sofa beds, armchairs, padded stools, home office chairs, futons, floor cushions and upholstered garden furniture can contain chemical substances, often used as fire retardants, that break down and are harmful to the environment. Please be assured that processes are in place to ensure safe management of these items.

If you have more than one item from the same category, each counts as a separate item. For example, a sofa and 2 armchairs counts as 3 items. A dining table and set of 4 chairs counts as 5 items and a bed frame, headboard and mattress counts as 3 items.
