Christmas and New Year Opening Hours
The Breckland Council offices in Dereham and phone lines will be closed from Wednesday 24 December at 1pm and reopen at 9am on Monday 29 December.
We will be open as normal from 9am to 5pm on 29 December to 31 December 2025.
The offices will also be closed on Thursday 1 January 2026 and normal office hours will resume from 9am Friday 2 January 2026.
From 29 December until 31 December (inclusive) our Thetford office is closed for routine enquiries- please phone us on 01362 656870. For emergencies such as homelessness, please visit the office between 9am and 5pm.

Housing Bidding Cycle
The bidding cycle over the Christmas Period will run for two weeks from Thursday 18 December until Monday 29 December.
