14/01/22: Give us your thoughts on Attleborough and Thetford's future at pop-up market stalls

The next stage of Breckland Council's Future Breckland: Thriving People and Places project will see residents' views being gathered at information stands at Attleborough and Thetford markets.
The project team will be at Attleborough Market on 27 January and at Thetford Market on 5 February to meet local residents and talk to them about their ideas for the two towns' futures.
The market stalls will be the first in a series of planned engagement activities.
The comments made by local residents and business owners, as well as councils and community organisations, during all the engagement events will help to identify top priorities for the towns and shape plans to tackle their unique challenges.
The Future Breckland programme has been commissioned by Breckland Council and is supported by Norfolk County Council and all five of the district's town councils. It's being led by economic specialists Hatch with urban regeneration experts We Made That.
Earlier stages of the year-long programme have seen similar engagement activity take place in Dereham, Watton and Swaffham. Draft plans for these towns have already started to take shape.
Cllr Paul Claussen, Breckland's Executive Member for Economic Development and Growth, said: "We've had a great response to these pop-up information stands previously, and we're hoping the same will be true for Attleborough and Thetford. If you're shopping in the market or along our high streets, why not spend five minutes chatting to the Future Breckland team to let us know what you think the priorities for your town should be? We'd also love you to join the workshops we're holding soon - we want to hear from as many people as possible."
