28/02/22: Don't miss your town's 'All About Local' roadshow!
During the month of March, Breckland Council and the Local Flavours team are bringing roadshows to the five market towns in the district. The roadshows are a 'feast of localness', encouraging visitors to find out what each unique town has to offer.
The schedule for the 'All About Local' roadshows is:

The roadshows have a focus on the fantastic local food and drink available in each town. From the street food stalls that visit the district's vibrant markets to the multitude of pubs and restaurants, there'll be something to tempt all the family.
Forming part of the roadshow will be the Local Flavours Cookery Theatre giving local chefs and others the opportunity to get out of their kitchens and onto the high street to show off their skills. Everyone is invited along to watch, pick up tips and recipes, and browse the stands for some local ingredients so they can have a go at home themselves!
Each roadshow will have a range of local food and drink producers, artisan crafts, start-up businesses, eco-friendly products and services, all ready to chat and tell you how they make our market towns so great. There will be a special skills and training area providing advice to anyone looking to start a career in the hospitality industry.
Cllr Paul Claussen, Breckland Council's Executive Member for Economic Growth and Development, said: "These roadshows are definitely for the foodies among us! I'm certainly planning to come along to at least one and try some fantastic local food and drink, and I hope everyone else will too. We're working with Local Flavours to showcase some of the many businesses making truly outstanding food and drink right here in Breckland. These roadshows are a chance to have a great day out and check out our high streets' unique flavours. You could pick up some cooking tips, or just a new place to try for a meal out!"
