24/05/2022: Swaefas Bridge maintenance update

We are about to carry out some works at Swaefas Bridge in #Swaffham, which forms part of the old disused railway line which is now a public footpath.

During these works the footpath will be closed at the bridge and no access will be provided across it (all other parts of the footpath remain open).

The bridge will be closed from Monday 6 June 2022 for a period of six weeks (subject to good weather) for essential repair and maintenance works. No access will be provided across the bridge during these works.

Signage will be placed along the footpath this week advising of the upcoming closure. We will also be dropping advisory notices to the immediate neighbours.
