With warmer weather arriving during August, tickets are being snapped up by eager drama fans for Thetford's Stage and Screen Festival.  The last event in the festival programme will be hosted at the historic Thetford Priory, founded in the early 12th century, which will be providing a magnificent backdrop for two outside theatre productions by Chapterhouse Theatre company. Organisers are urging the public to book tickets now to avoid disappointment!

The famous company of actors will be performing in Thetford's Stage and Screen 2023 festival at the end of August, which has already seen thousands of people take part in a series of free cinema events next to Thetford riverside. The first performance at Thetford Priory will be Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility on 22 August, followed by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream on 23 August. Festival attendees are encouraged to bring along a picnic and seating to fully enjoy this marvelous theatrical experience set within the medieval monastic ruins of Thetford Priory.

Breckland Council has funded the Stage and Screen Summer 2023 programme, in partnership with Thetford Town Council, to bring together local communities, attract visitors to the town and support local businesses.

Tickets for the Thetford Priory open air theatre performances can be purchased from www.chapterhouse.org
