19 June 2024: Blues and Soul Choir week 2 with Lauren Dove

Supported by funding from Dereham Town Council and led by Lauren Dove participants will join a community-based group to learn the basics of choral singing, the rhythms and tropes of blues and soul music and the harmonies that make the sound so special. Lauren is a professional voice coach and ran a very successful choir workshops in and around the county. She is also part of the very successful local band, Dove and Boweevil. This is the first of four weekly workshops held at Church House (St Nicholas Church). The sessions will work towards being able to perform four songs in public at locations in the town as part of the Community Blues Explosion event happening as part of the Dereham Blues Festival.
