Thetford Stage and Screen Summer 2022

Stage and Screen Summer 2002 is bringing together the very best of free outdoor cinema, which will be held at the Thetford Riverside, with outside theatre performances of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and panto favourite, Cinderella at the Thetford Priory. Both events will be supported by fantastic street food vendors, offering scrumptious food for all ages.

On Saturday 27 August, Encanto will be shown at 1pm, followed by Grease at 3:30pm and finally, The Greatest Showman at 6pm. If you missed the opportunity to watch Encanto, it will be returning on Sunday 28 August at 1pm, with The Lion King at 3:30pm and Mamma Mia! at 6pm. 

Street food vendors on site will include Craig's da Flava, Roasty's, Bucket Fries, Pudding Shack, Dough and Co, Burger Amor, popcorn buckets from the Light Cinema and a massive street BBQ will be just some of the tasty treats on offer. 

Seating  - bring a blanket/camping chair to relax whilst watching these great shows! 

Outside Theatre - 31 August and 1 September - The Thetford Priory

Brought to you by Chapterhouse Theatre Company, sit back and enjoy Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and family favourite, Cinderella at the Thetford Priory. 

Romeo and Juliet is a classic story packed with feuding families and two star-crossed lovers trying to find happiness. Meanwhile, Cinderella will take attendees on a magical journey to a far-away enchanted kingdom. Children and visitors of all ages are invited to dress as their favourite fairy tale characters and join the midsummer ball. Both shows are almost sold out, so book now at  www.chapterhouse.org  (Open Air Events) so you don't miss out.

Street food vendors, Burgersmith, will be on-site until 9pm, offering a range of burgers, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options for audience members. Please bring along picnic blankets or camping chairs, as deck chairs are available in a limited capacity.

Toilets will be on site.
