Salary: Grade 8, £30,120 - £35,942 per annum (pay award pending)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Place of Work: Dereham (remote-enabled)
Basis: Permanent

We are seeking a Contract Monitoring Officer, to lead on the contract management of the waste collection and related services contracts, and to review and develop service delivery within the Environmental Services team.

As our Contract Monitoring Officer, you will:

• Operationally manage the waste and related services contracts
• Work in partnership to develop the waste and recycling collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance service
• Liaise with contractors on service requests and complaints
• Lead on customer service improvements
• Support procurement of new Council contracts
• Work in partnership to research, develop and implement initiatives
• Assist and liaise with stakeholders in the research and development of policies, utilising best practice and benchmarking results
