Thompson Millennium Green 10k & 5k run 

The Thompson Millennium Green 10k is a multi-terrain route run through the picturesque pathways, lanes and bridleways in and around Thompson. The route starts on the Green using tracks across farmland and byroads before joining the Griston Road, passing the Chequers pub before returning to the Green. The runners carry on down a further byroad to Peddars Way before coming back to the Green for their finish. It is a fairly flat course providing the perfect opportunity for a 10k PB over a measured course. 

The Thompson Millennium Green 10k & 5k run is an annual event held to raise valuable funds for Thompson Millennium Green Trust (Charity number 1073130) and were hoping that it will attract more runners to celebrate 25 years of the creation of The Green. 

There will be a Hot Dog stand as well as the Cafe providing refreshments and tasty bakes. All of this is only made possible by our large number of volunteers who work tirelessly in advance, during and after the day to ensure that everything runs smoothly to give runners and visitors the best possible experience we can.
