Local referendum (26 October 2021)
A local referendum was held on 26 October to decide if the Saham Toney Neighbourhood Plan should become part of the council's development plan. The turnout was 30 per cent, of which 96 per cent (449) voted in favour of using the Plan to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area and four per cent (17) voted against.

Examination of the Neighbourhood Plan
The Examination started on the 8 January 2021 and closed when the Independent Examiner issued his final report on 13 July 2021.
Breckland Council made its decision on the Examiners Report on 13 August 2021 and accepted all the modification in the Report.

Submission Consultation (Reg.16) on the Neighbourhood Plan
The consultation started on Thursday 29 October 2020 and closed on Thursday 10 December 2020.

Pre-submission Consultation (Reg.14) on the Neighbourhood Plan
Saham Toney Parish Council have held three Pre-submission Consultations.
The third consultation started on Wednesday 24 June 2020 and closed on Friday 14 August 2020.
