Dereham Taskforce

The Dereham Taskforce has been set up to respond to local concerns and help make a positive difference in the town.

The group, comprising a number of local organisations and individuals, exists to coordinate activity to tackle local challenges relating to housing, health inequality, community safety, and neighbourhood wellbeing in Dereham. The Taskforce will identify shared priorities, develop joint solutions, commission appropriate interventions, and monitor progress. Read more about this on the Terms of Reference page.

Members of the taskforce include senior or operational representatives from: Breckland Council; Norfolk County Council; Norfolk Police; Dereham Town Council; Probation Service / MoJ; Officer Norfolk Police & Crime Commissioner; NHS Norfolk & Waveney ICB; Local PCN / Primary Care partners; Community Action Norfolk; The Link and wider organisations; Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP); Sports England / Active Norfolk; • Local schools and youth providers; Housing Associations operating in Dereham; Safer Neighbourhood Partnership; Love Dereham; two resident representatives; and two local business representatives.
