'A prosperous place to work and live' is just one of Breckland Council's priorities which are achieved through the continued promotion and development of a sustainable economy. The Council's activities include encouraging inward investment, co-ordinating and supporting activities which support the Breckland economy, the provision of quality commercial property and an integrated advice network.
Over 90% of the businesses in Breckland are small to medium sized, and therefore play an important role in the economic development of the district. The businesses in Breckland are not only our wealth creators for the district, but also our employment providers, and therefore a significant amount of the assistance offered and brokered by Breckland Council is aimed at helping these businesses to expand and create more jobs. Working in partnership with a range of other organisations, the Council can help your business in a variety of ways, including:
