Microchipping of Cats 

Owners have until 10 June 2024 to microchip their cat.  You must keep your details up to date on a DEFRA approved microchipping database.  Catteries are required to keep records of microchip numbers for cats being boarded in their establishments.  See our Licensing News page for further information.

Prior to submitting your application you must ensure that you contact the Council'sPlanning Department to obtain the relevant planning permissions for your business.
